ANCESTORS IN THE GARDEN

#HistoricalPreservation #Ancestors #Resiliency #Storytelling

Ancestors in the Garden includes Emotional Disfunction of Consumptionand together the art pieces critique how our cultural fixation on consumption crowds out space for our living with and honoring our ancestors, preserving our histories, and protecting our youth. Around the perimeter of the gardens and throughout the walkways are large murals of African American legacies.
